This post is in response to last week’s “How to Build your Own iPhone.“

Last week, I showed how to build your very own iPhone out of simple household objects (phone, laptop, tape). I steered clear of the technical jargon inherent in such a complex process, but blog readers came up with some questions for me.

Using basic objects you can find at home, you can build your own iPhone. It’s a little bigger than the existing iPhones, but also has more capability and is a little more sleek.

The past weekend has been insane with the release of the iPhone 3G. Lines dwarfed Apple’s initial release last year. Most lines were backed up due to Apple’s new policy of activating in store rather than via iTunes.
