Yue Minjun has teamed up with KAWS for a vinyl exhibit dubbed “ART FOR THE MASSES,” at Taipei’s Museum of Tomorrow. The vinyl is produced in a limited run of 500 pieces and is probably gone by now. This is an interesting collaboration, as you can see KAWS is definitely trying to re-establish himself in the gallery scene, hence the Everything Else Exhibit at Franklin Parrasch Gallery, which I’m not mad at. I just wish he could do a unlimited run of his pieces, so everybody can enjoy it!
