My boy Edward Ubiera of Chickens & Robots (C&R) along with a group of artists and friends are tricking out brown paper bags they sell wine in. The idea behind this is that something as simple as a brown paper bag can be recycled into art instead of being thrown away. I was told there will be free wine tasting and treats from the Lower East Side Girls Club! Some of the proceeds from the art sales will go benefit the L.E.S.G.C. The event is taking place this coming Friday, June 6th from 6 to 10pm at the Alphabet City Wine Co. on 100 Ave. C (between 6th & 7th St.). Best believe THC will be there. Come through, look at dope art and let’s kick it!
